I really needed this little getaway, it didnt matter where i went or who i went with..i just needed to get away from the country, get away from people who just pretend to be there for you when they are actually never there for you at all. Or people who you just need to getaway from you know, not that i hate them or anything, but sometimes you just need your space to breathe..
So yes me and my mom were all stoked to get on the plane that was going to arrive in Manila, Philippines..i have never been there before and from what i hear its kinda like Malaysia and all the neighbouring countries..so i really didnt set the standard that high..but anyways we were off to meet my dad in Philippines cause he was coming from Malaysia..One more reason why me and my mom were elated and happy was because we were going to travel on business class which was ahahha something interesting because we've never done it togheter before but we've done it separately..but still cool...i was soo happy to get on the plane..my mom told me that the last time she went to Manila, she sat on a 747..and i was like shit ahahha no freaking way maybe i could get on one too..lol ps i love 747s they are my fav(: anywhos when i went to board the plane and saw the plane i was like shit thats a jubilee damn haha..its smaller than 747s..and yeah i was kinda expecting that already because SIA is phasing out 747s because they've got new planes that can have the same number of passengers and its smaller..so yeah i guess they'd probably replace it and yes to my dismay i was right and i got that plane..): but it was all good still..yeah i watched yours mine and ours on the plane..let me tell you that i was HILARIOUS hahaha super funny..i loved it soo much! The flight was aight..a bit of bumps here and there but it wasnt one of the best fights i had..
So day 1 began when we landed..we had to wait for my dad because his flight was all late and the customs was super slow..and i was irritated as usualy because i dont like waiting..it pisses me off..anywhos i couldnt complain..so yeah he finally came yay lol...we checked into the hotel and boy when i saw the hotel i was like WOW my jaw just dropped..it was nothing like i expected it to be at all...when we drove around manila to get to our hotel..i really saw how the the condition of the country and i was sadden because im so much more fortunate than they are and they have so little and yet they are soo contented with whatever they have and im just some spoiled child wanting me more lol..anyhows back to the hotel, i guess the buildings around the area and the whole area was different because it was a business district and stuff but yeah Shangri-La was amazing ahah i love that place..when i stepped into the hotel i smelt something i've never smelt before and i was pleasantly surprised..i loved the smell of the hotel..and i finally stepped into aircon lol..yes it was soo hot outside and im supposed to be singaporean..im supposed to be able to take the heat and stuff like that but no shit man it was bad bad bad..haha so yeah we finally settled down and i was sooo tired man..i told my mom that i had jet lag so i needed to sleep before we went out again..haha the funny thing is that we are on the same time as Singapore so there shouldnt be any jet lag at all but yeah i needed to sleep so i had to come out with whatever stupid reason, i woke up at 6 something..thats a bad time to wake up at and im not good when i wake up at that time..so yeah after we woke up we decided to walk around before we had dinner..and look at the shops and stuff..i was amazed at what i saw..i didnt expect to see the shops that i saw..they had shops that singapore didnt have and should have..shops like Dunkin Donuts and Gloria Jean's Coffee hahaa i love that one..anywhos they had the usual shops that singapore had like Levis, Nike, even Zara and Topshop ahhaha cool stuff eh..i was soo excited and i couldnt wait to go shopping hahah..yeah so we went out with my dad for dinner ahha which is a good thing cause we could go to super expensive yummy restaurants hahaha..and we went with my dads co worker person i think im not really sure who he is but he's a nice dude from China..right on man ahha...anywhos we went to this place it serves authentic filipino food or what you call local food..and wow as it amazing..i loved almost every dish there except for the kang kong..somehow it was weird tho i love it with balachan hahaha my fav..yum shit im hungry ok whatever..so yeah anywhos wow i loved the clams and mussels and stuff and i never eat them at all but wow now im addicted everywhere i go i must eat them ahha..so yes while we were eating there were people singing and stuff and they came over to our table to sing songs for us and boy were they good..i mean yeah The Philippines have true talent..they are just amazing..they can sing in like 4 parts and everything and wow i was amazed and yet embarassed because i've been learning music for ages and im no where near them at all..ok i derno if thats true i might be as good but i dont think so lol haha anywhos they were amazing and i loved them..
We went back to the hotel after that to get drinks and stuff..i got a singapore sling..i wanted to try that cause i havent tried it before and stuff and when i drank it i was alright at first but as time passed, i had an allergic reaction to it..i was like wtf?????????and omg it was soo bad my head was hurting and stuff..it was bad..and after that my mom made a conclusion that im allergic to rum and all that non wine stuff..i was like shit damn tahts just soo bad..so yeah i had to go back to the hotel to rest..argh it was bad im telling you bad bad bad... so yeah day 2 came that will be said later..too lazy to type all at once...i loved day 1 (: except the drinking part..
