ok so there was a thread on some music forum about Avril and Kelly Clarkson performing at this years Teen Choice Awards. And people started bashing Kelly saying that its such a disgrace that Avril is sharing the stage with her. I didnt like what they said so i had to post about it and fight back.
Ok im currently extremely unhappy with the way everything is going on now. For starters, Avril fans have no right to bash Kelly Clarkson fans saying that Kelly cant sing and that her record isnt doing well and in actual fact, its actually flopping.
For your information, i would not consider Kelly's album as a flop because it has almost sold 1 million copies worldwide and i dont really consider that a flop when you have people like Jessica Simpson and others who dont even do as well as she does. I would also like to add that Kelly herself has already said that she DOESNT expect her album to sell, she'd be surprised if it sold like 600,000 in US and she already surpassed that so she should be happy with what she has accomplished. So what if her album isnt what everyone loves, so what if people dont like it? So what if its not radio friendly? Its the fact that she's being true to herself and doing what she set out to do and just being who she really wants to be. At least she's not like some FAKER who cant sing live to save herself. Now let me elaborate on Avril.
Ok Avril started off her career by saying you know oh im not going to be some manufactured person like everyone in the music business now and im not going to succumb to all the pressures around her, she didnt wanna be the girly girl she is now. She portrayed herself as someone who was like so hardcore. Like omg i said the f word that is so hardcore. I point middle fingers in photoshoots OMG im so hardcore! So that was the Avril that we knew then. Her metamorphosis started taking place and she started wearing tutus in like her second record. People were apprehensive at first but after a while they were like oh Avrils growing up to become a woman we should respect her for that and she's getting in touch with her girly side. Ok thats still acceptable. Take note that during this whole time, she was known to be the most horrible singer on the Grammys. Trust me she KILLED sk8ter boy badly! Continuing with the journey, she gets married to godknowswhoheis travis something or whatever and then she records and writes her 3rd record perpetually half drunk and she's SOO proud of it. And now she's SOOO into pink and she's such a wannabe and she's like all girly, her album is HOT PINK. I mean she's just turned out to be someone she said she wouldnt become. Unfortunately for all you Avril fans who cannot accept the truth, i would like to get this in your heads. SHE IS HORRIBLE LIVE!!!!! Girlfriend is probably one of the MOST annoying songs on the entire earth and she sings it HORRIBLY live its shameful! Dont get me started on When You're Gone because thats just a whole different story altogether because its so ironic and sad that usually people kill other peoples song like say if Avril were to cover My Heart Will Go On, she will TOTALLY kill it and that would be insulting to Celine. However whats ironic is that she's KILLING her OWN song, and that says a lot! So i wonder who's the one that cannot sing live?In a nutshell, Avril is just horrible and she's just such a fake person now and she didnt live up to what she said she would while Kelly is just doing what she does. Who cares if Avril outsells Kelly, at least Kelly doesnt steal other people's SONGS!
and i mean Kelly Clarkson DIDNT just win American Idol you know? Only one of the worlds most watched SINGING COMPETITION television show and it was one of the FIRST of its kind that produced one of the most raw natural talent the world has ever seen. The show that produced songs like Since U Been Gone that topped the world charts, that set records, and also Behind These Hazel eyes that started trends that everyone follows and also the album itself that made records in America itself. Ok maybe you dont like her? So what it doesnt discount the fact that she's done what no one did? I bet if Avril were to go on American Idol she wouldnt even last the first round at all. Simon would probably tell her to just get lost or something and dye her hair back to her natural colour cause pink doesnt suit her at all!
If you're still not convinced, lets just compare how many Grammy's Avirl has actually won and how many has Kelly won. Hmm lets see, Avril has won, 1 + 2 + wait what? ZEROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO she has won ZERO Grammy's!!!!!!! and how many Kelly has won??? 2 just 2!!!! lets not get started on the other awards cause im sure Kelly has won more than Avril in every aspect!
